Whenever I leave my home,
I feel thee,
I fear thee.
You never leave, you always haunt,
your existence defines me,
as mine enables you.
When we see each other,
shimmering ambivalence occurs.
Unclear if we see an old friend
or the ultimate enemy.
Yet, mutual acceptance
is essential for our existence.
